10 FREE Resources For Your Small Business

Running a small business requires you to dedicate a lot of time and money-and especially in today's economy, resources are far and few inbetween. That is why I went ahead and compiled a list of 10 FREE resources you can (AND should!) utilize for your business.

Google Workspace

  • Turn people who find you on Google Search and Maps into new customers with a free Business Profile for your storefront or service area. Personalize your profile with photos, offers, posts, and more!

  • Discover who visits your website, the search terms they use to discover your company, and more with Google Analytics. It also shows you demographic information about your customer base, which can help improve your marketing efforts.

  • Google Docs is a FREE word processing software that allows you to edit word documents and PDFs without converting them. It also gives you the ability to collaborate on projects with your team!

Design Resources

  • Become a graphic designer overnight with Canva’s customizable templates! Pick a free graphic that’s ready-made for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and more; then make it yours by changing fonts, colors, and images.

  • Pixabay is an open-source community of photographers, videographers, illustrators and musicians. Gain access to MILLIONS of royalty-free images, vectors, and music files.

Other FREE Resources

  • HubSpot is a powerful customer relationship management (CRM) tool. While you’ll need a paid plan to access all of their features, the free plan provides valuable sales, marketing, operations, and CMS tools to help grow your business.

  • Take advantage of email marketing and grow your email list using MailChimp, which is free for up to 500 subscribers. Their free plan includes email templates, landing pages, and more!

  • Accept payments online or in person with a PayPal business account, which also offers a range of small business finance services. With a free PayPal business account, you can also make purchases and invoice clients for goods and services. (AND they don't need a paypal account to send you payments!)

  • Add your business to Yelp to get discovered by people searching for service providers, restaurants and more! Once you’re listed on Yelp, you can update your business information, respond to customer reviews, and advertise your business.

  • Grow WITH your business by taking advantage of these two e-course vendors. They both offer free, online business classes. Build your skills and stay up to date with the latest trends with free classes in productivity, operations management, health and safety, leadership, and much more.
